Our Terroir, Our Passion.
It was in the early 1600s that the Annapolis Valley was identified by by European settlers as the ideal geography for growing apples, thanks to its uniquely fertile soil, and micro-climate.
It’s been 400 years since, and we continue to nurture this gift, benefiting from the abundance of the land in Nova Scotia, both in the Annapolis Valley and New Ross.
Our rustic five acres of farmland in New Ross is home to our beautiful span of orchards and berries. Pure juice is carefully extracted from our luscious supply of fruit, and is then fermented .
We produce our wines locally thanks to an abundant landscape of berries, and the help of surrounding local orchards. The result is a fresh and aromatic wine that’s true to Nova Scotia.
Our cider reflects our values: natural ingredients, exceptional taste, and outstanding craftsmanship.
Cider begins and ends with the apple. Our quality fruits from the Annapolis Valley are juiced on site and slowly fermented, resulting in a natural cider that’s never made from concentrate. The result is a premium balanced blend of sweetness, acid, and tannins that’s low in sugar, made from real apple juice, and bottled on site.
Red Barn Wine

Carefully crafted using only fresh, quality Nova Scotian fruit, Red Barn wines are fermented using traditional methods and a precise yeast strain, accentuating the rich and aromatic qualities of our natural ingredients.
